All about that Ace

Ace Whitfield Williams

So I just can't wait any longer. I am eager to share our little miracle with everyone. He was a miracle.  It's a miracle he even made it 37 weeks gestation and then 3 days. I'll use the pictures I have for now and share the photographer's later. I've been putting off sharing and writing about Ace because of a number of things -- mainly emotions.  But this is just a bunch of preciousness!

The following pictures are from the recovery room forward. We went straight from surgery to a private recovery room.  Ace never left our side. Once Whit and I spent some alone time with him, we invited our family back a little at a time, and these are the combined pictures from iphones and cameras.

So where do I start?  Better yet, how the heck am I only gonna post certain pics!? I mean, they're all so darn cute. Warning: Picture overload!

Such a content little man
until he got mad!

Didn't get enough of these.

Someone is dying to hold him!
Look at that face! She's not excited, is she!?

Beaming Big Sis

Ivy loved him too! But she was a little jealous of PopPop holding Ace.

100% sugar

check out those extra pinky fingers!
loved those hands by his face

The grands making sure he's human! hehe.

A smile... Must be dreaming of his mommy :)

Look at that blond hair! Our first baby born blond! The girls had brown hair with highlights, but they're golden now!

He didn't really like me rubbing those cheeks, but he let me!

Singing Happy Birthday! 1 day old.

Born a Rebel!

Although he did have several markings of a Trisomy 13 baby, he was totally normal to me.
Beautiful.
Our little Old Man. My little Ace to Base.
